Globalisation, networking and the new tools of communication have changed the way we work, and how we live.
Traditionally-oriented companies are being gradually replaced by hypertext structure coined by the author which use non-linear links as in an interactive program to incorporate their customers’ seemingly random preferences into their strategy without losing sense of their basic purpose.

The hypertext corporation nonetheless remains a mystery for many; caught up with doing the splits between a networked future and a straightjacketed present, we have not been able to familiarise ourselves with its new underlying laws.

attempts to identify and analyse these principles, which are fundamentally transforming a company’s resources, structure and purpose.
